Recently, Research on the Conservation of Grottoes and Earthen Sites was awarded the 2025 “Journal with Progress in Academic Influence” certificate by the Editorial Board of the Chinese Science and Technology Journal Database and Chongqing VIP Information. This award recognizes and affirms the journal’s continuous improvement in academic quality and industry influence.

Since its launch in 2022, Research on the Conservation of Grottoes and Earthen Sites has focused on basic research and practical applications in the conservation of grotto temples and earthen sites, as well as scientific archaeology, both domestically and internationally. The journal publishes new theories, methods, technologies, and achievements in the field of cultural heritage conservation, with the aim of promoting the integration of theory and practice and advancing research and academic exchange in cultural heritage conservation. Adhering to rigorous academic standards, the journal is committed to establishing a high-level academic platform and publishing research findings that demonstrate theoretical innovation and practical guidance.
