From June 25th to 28th, 2024, the 11th Western Science and Technology Journal Development Forum was grandly held in Dunhuang, Gansu Province. With the theme of "Building High-level Science and Technology Journals to Serve the Development of New Productive Forces", this forum attracted more than 700 colleagues from the journal industry from 28 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government) across the country.

Leaders such as Shao Zhigang, Deputy Director of the Publicity Department of the Gansu Provincial Party Committee and Director of the Gansu Provincial Press and Publication Bureau (Gansu Provincial Copyright Bureau), and Ma Kun, Vice Chairman of the Gansu Provincial Association for Science and Technology, attended the opening ceremony and delivered speeches. During the forum, many well-known experts delivered keynote reports focusing on hot topics, industry frontiers, and path explorations, opening up new ideas and providing new thoughts for the participating representatives. In addition, a series of activities such as the 4th "Western Excellent Editors" Salon and the 5th "Young Geese Lecture Hall" were also held, providing rich communication opportunities for the participating representatives.

 Editors from the Editorial Department of Research on the Conservation of Cave Temples and Earthen Sites participated in the conference and displayed the journal Research on the Conservation of Cave Temples and Earthen Sites in the journal display area of the conference.
