From October 16th to 19th, 2024, the 12th Academic Annual Meeting of the Chinese Society for Conservation Technology of Cultural Relics was successfully held in Dunhuang City, Gansu Province. This academic annual meeting was sponsored by the Chinese Society for Conservation Technology of Cultural Relics and the Dunhuang Academy. Nearly 500 experts and scholars from scientific research institutions, universities, and cultural and museum units across the country were invited to gather together to jointly discuss how to better use scientific and technological means to systematically protect cultural heritage.
To expand the influence of the journal Research on the Conservation of Cave Temples and Earthen Sites, the editorial staff of the journal set up a journal display counter and, in coordination with multimedia, played the founding video of Research on the Conservation of Cave Temples and Earthen Sites, publicizing and displaying the issues and bound volumes of Research on the Conservation of Cave Temples and Earthen Sites published in the past three years. During the conclusion of the academic conference, more than 2,000 copies of the journal were given away to the scholars attending this conference.
